This position will be based in the Chicago, IL area. You will manage CMD’s worldwide engagement with key customers including Motorola through your direct involvement with the prime movers at the customer, and through your interface with an established network of CMD direct sales force and representatives worldwide. Your sales skill set should include a strong background in consultive sales, and a successful track record of achieving design in/win of electrical components in the handset, consumer, and industrial ecosystems. Familiarity with creating and editing spreadsheets and presentations, collaborating verbally, via email, and through a CRM system would be helpful in the daily execution of your role. Direct sales experience with handset manufacturers such as Motorola is preferred. This is an entrepreneurial position with an established product line, at an established customer. A self-starter personality with effective teamwork skills is essential for this position. Domestic and international travel is required.
Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities
This senior level sales management position is responsible for handset customers such as Motorola and RIM worldwide. Activities including worldwide coordination on the mobile handset businesses, maintaining and growing current business, and championing new markets and business opportunities for revenue growth across the handset, consumer, and industrial activities of the named customers.
Responsibilities Include:
- Direct involvement with key engineering, marketing, and sourcing teams, driving the opportunity tracking/design-win process within these assigned accounts.
- Manage all aspects of current business relationship.
- Proactively present CMD product roadmaps and overall technology and corporate value proposition.
Job Requirements/Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent preferred.
- 10+ years experience in major accounts sale and sales management focused within semiconductor sales preferred. Technical sales experience (FAE) experience a plus.
